What is Axastanthin from Tn Pharma and what is it used for?

Astaxanthin from Tn Pharma is the new dietary supplement based on the patented astaxanthin AstaZine® derived from the microalga Haematococcus pluvialis: an innovative nutraceutical product with a high antioxidant and protective effect for the whole body.

Astaxanthin is a natural carotenoid with various properties for the human body. What is axastanthin and why take it?

Going into detail, astaxanthin is not produced by the human body and must be taken through diet or supplementation.

Analyzing the sources, wild red salmon is the best dietary source of natural astaxanthin, providing about 1 mg per serving.

The problem is that most people do not get enough of it and consume farmed salmon. In addition, the astaxanthin used in fish farming is produced by synthetic processes, which in turn affects the astaxanthin stereoisomers found in farmed products. Thus, comparing the various molecules, natural astaxanthin is 20 times more potent than synthetic astaxanthin.
