Muesli and Corn Flakes

Have you recently started a diet and don't know what to consume for breakfast? Looking for a product that can provide you with the right amount of energy to cope with everyday life to the fullest?

Surely a rich bowl of muesli or corn flakes combined with milk or yogurt, preferably low-fat, is the best choice you can make! However, although they look similar on the surface, these two products are actually made with both completely different methods and ingredients.

Muesli is a product originating in the Alps, made from cereal flakes such as oats, dried fruits (raisins or berries) and nuts, such as hazelnuts, or to give it a more mouth-watering touch you can choose some with tasty chocolate chips inside. If there is no added fat and sugar, it is a good choice for breakfast because it is a source of carbohydrates with a low glycemic index, and quite balanced.

In contrast, corn flakes are made from cornmeal, although nowadays they are also made from other flours, and processed through a process whereby a dough is created along with sugar. After that, they are pressed and then baked to make a product that can be enjoyed for breakfast or as a snack.
