Soy protein

Soy Protein Isolate (SPI) is protein that is derived from the seeds of soybeans, a herbaceous plant belonging to the Leguminosae family and native to East Asia.

Soybeans are characterized by a high content of protein (about 37 percent by dry weight), polyunsaturated fats, and glycosides (isoflavones and glycosides).
