Thyroid Control

The thyroid gland is a gland, shaped like a small butterfly, located at the front of the neck and consisting of two lobes. The thyroid gland is an endocrine gland that produces and controls thyroid hormones, which are essential for our body's growth and development.

In fact, the function of the thyroid gland is to generate , store and release into the circulatory system triiodothyronine and thyroxine; two hormones that are involved in the development of the nervous system and regulates the metabolic system by marking the pace at which our body burns calories to produce energy. Many times it happens that the thyroid does not function as it should and this results in various disorders and diseases; among the main ones are two: hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism.

Hyperthyroidism is a thyroid disorder that causes excessive production of hormones, which causes many problems including feeling tired, anxiety states, and heart problems. In contrast,hypothyroidism, occurs when the thyroid gland is unable to produce enough hormones, which causes obesity and infertility.

To avoid running into these diseases, it is possible to prevent them through a healthy diet, however, this is not necessarily enough, and that is why it is useful to take thyroid control supplements that can correct hormone levels and bring them back to normal.
